Barclays re-post same lost pin letter

Opened a Barclays account, expected to receive PIN in post.. nothing unusual about that. Expect it did not arrive for 2 weeks, so I phoned up, they said they would send another. However, next morning I had the PIN in the post... so that must have been the first letter.

Got the second letter.. and it was the same PIN!! Had my original letter been lost, some crook would have known my exact PIN. Why are Barclays re-using the same PIN? I was shocked.

Wales smoking cut plan. Fantastic news, the welsh have got something right. What is a shame is that there is not an outright ban, with fixed penalties "mobile phone" style for smoking in cars for both road safety and the health of passengers.

Countless times I've seen smoking drivers with only one hand on the wheel, other hand out the window (littering their cigarette end as rubbish). They are distracted by "smoking at the wheel".

Simon Clark from the lobby group Forest is out of touch on this issue. Forest should be re-formed into an association supporting existing smokers cut down and quit.
