Android USB Serial

Google, could you add the functionality to the Bootloader to allow the USB port to be set as a USB-Serial HID class? The we could set a terminal up, and see what issue there actually was during the bootup

Android Recovery Backup mode Nexus 5X is broken

Google, please could you add to the recovery bootloader on LG Nexus 5X a way to backup user data? This should be easy enough.. just a little kernel image that let's us mount the ext partition, and connect to a laptop. Even just letting us download the whole partition as a binary file.

Warning Airbnb charge extra for included "Amenities"

If a Host lists "Wireless Internet" or "Breakfast" or "Cable TV" or "Parking" it means that amenity is provided. It doesn't mean it is optional, or charged.

Airbnb warning, they don't understand "Amenities" so they allow the host to charge for Internet, or not even provide Internet (if there is a local company providing a service over wifi etc)

http://www.dictionary.com/browse/amenities

Quoting:
"any feature that provides comfort, convenience, or pleasure"

Airbnb is very misleading, as they allow Hosts to charge extra, for "features" listed.

Be careful, always ask Host if they are genuinely including all Amenities they have listed

Dyson washing dryer

How long till Dyson will bring out a wind/sound based dryer? It seems so old-fashioned to be heating up clothes to evaporate the water

Why encryption is bad for general public and should be regulated

The widely available encryption tech we have at our finger prints isn't good, or necessary for general citizens. Encryption is essential for businesses, and for online banking an such, it isn't desirable for the general public and their WhatsApp and Telegram chats.

For general public citizens:
Physical device security is important, take care of your device. If you loose your device, immediately change your password.

What we don't want is a situation where bad people's general consumer device, chit chat is not readable by the police. They have no need. The app store should not market them apps which have such "easy to use" encryption.

Only registered, regulated businesses who have a data-protection and encryption policy and officers should have access to install encrypted email and chat apps.

Of cause, this change, doesn't prevent people from using their secure online banking apps. They are still encouraged.

Will Ivanka Trump run for president in 2021 or 2025?

Looks like Donald is lining up a lot of experience for her.
